Hailing from Western PA, The WRPs’ music harkens back to a time when things were simpler. The days moved slower and friends and family were about the most important things in life. Our sound is what you would get if you threw some Americana, Folk, Alt country, Appalachian and Blue grass into a big ole’ pot with a few sticks of Country and a couple of slices of Rock -n- Roll and let it simmer all day long. We create a musical stew in which all parts retain their own identity, but each lends to the flavor of the mix. So, when you get a chance, come on out and join us for a smooth creamy bowl of our own special sound.

         

Striped Maple Hollow is a four-piece Americana group from Johnstown, PA, featuring two female vocalists who alternate lead and harmony, backed by two multi-instrumentalists on guitars, mandolin, and banjo.  Their repertoire and original compositions lean heavily on the folk, bluegrass, classic country, and gospel traditions.
